I have Crayola pencils in my classroom for students to use, but for kids who
are serious about their artwork, I recommend that they purchase the largest
set of Prismacolor that they can afford--and a lot of them do. I have some
Prismacolor available in the room (and purchase Prismacolor white and black
for special projects). I teach at a private boarding/day school.
