You can find second hand copies of Margaret Shepherd's "Learning Calligraphy"
on Bibliofind, but the new one is quite different. She visited a class I was
teaching at the time and my students took proofs home to vet out. She was
very giving of her knowledge and love of the letter form and it's history.

New year's Eve, I'm in the middle of making gobs of paste for paste paper. We
(anyone I found to ask and friends) are gathering at my new studio in
Framingham, to make paste paper and eat! Anyone in the area is welcome.
www.fountainstreetstudios.com will give you directions. We begin at 5 PM and
probably will peter out around 9 or 10. If you're in the area, join us.
