Hi,
Judy , thanks for posting the Dox Thrash printmaking website. The exhibit in
person is remarkable, rich deep black tones achieved are very intense, like
velvet.
I just realized that the Eakins show at the PMA is closing next week. I will
be going this week, I hate to miss major shows. It's amazing how much
incredible art is out there in our area. Many mueums are staying open late
one night, Phila Museum of Art now does Wednesday's and Friday's until 8:45
pm nice to cruise in after a day of teaching to refresh my artistic soul (I
will post any Eakins bargains I come across in the next few weeks) Delaware
museu, is also doing late night Wednesdays. Just learned that they hace a
nice collection of Preraphaelite art on their permanent collection. This
museum's collection also features early illustrators.

I have been lurking a lot these past few months, happy new year to all.
(Penning a resolution to post once a week to listserv) I still start each day
by reading artsednet listserv digest version. Keeps me in touch with the real
important people in the world (ART EDUCATORS !!)
