My children brought me some of the most wonderful wild bouquets of wild
violets
dandelions partridge pea and chick weed. No poisons in any of the yards at
that time. Wish I had photos of all those wonderful natural bouquets. My
mother cooked
dandelion greens like spinach when they first came up - was very good. I
made wishes on the puffywhite dandelions as I blew them. So many kids with
time on their hands - hire them to dig the dandelions - keep thembusy and pay
them for their time!! Avoid poisons and help our youth at the same time.
