I am doing a little search here for a unit on Medieval/Renaissance
Symbolism.
I ran across this page that describes the positive and negative meaning of

Please post additional sites you have come across that show what symbols
mean to the kids of today (so many are turning to occult beliefs systems).
I think Kim Herbert (Was it you, Kim?) posted some a while back but that
folder was lost when I re-imaged last summer.
My husband bought me a gold cross necklace for Christmas - I like what the
cross means to me. Symbolism is very important to me and is very prevalent
in my own art work (one example:
