I have a great skull in my room. It was found in a Buffalo
Creek in Wyoming. It is so old and beautiful. When I received it,
it was a chalking away. I was afraid it would be gone. I sealed it
with a dilute white glue mix and it's been terrific ever since. I
got some more bones this summer and plan to do the same thing with
them. The skull is hanging on the wall surrounded by a SW
motif......very cool, I think.
Do we want to discuss the implications of hoof and mouth
disease or mad cow in relation to sudents handling these bones? The
skull is not coming down, but I am uneasy about the new bones and
whether the kids will want to handle them and the safely. Any
ideas???
