I do not allow any chemicals to be used on my property - I have too much
affection and $$$ tied up in my koi and my cats (down to 2 - I think
neighbor's chemicals got the other 2 as they got tumors as well). Since
animals lick their paws anything poured on your lawn ends up in their
bellies. Just as we watch the chemicals we use with our students we need to
be aware of the chemicals we pass on to our little ones. I saw on the news
last night about how porous carpet is and that any chemicals we use on our
lawns end up in our living rooms where they are near impossible to
eliminate. My condolances on your kitty - my heart goes out to you.
