Dear Roberta,
You have my sympathy on the death of your beloved cat. I too, am a cat
lover.

As to the chemical contamination, it sounds like a pretty good guess.
Unfortunately, we often don't see the effects until later.

Subject: cat lovers only

Just wanted to share with all the cat lovers artists out there. Had to put
my
beloved tabby cat to sleep yesterday due to a tumor in the throat that most
likely was cancerous and most likely would come back. I wanted his
companionship
longer but could not make him suffer with an operation . He was 10. My
neighbors used Chem Lawn many years ago before they moved. My cat was a
kitten then. One niegbors dogs each contracted an illness - one leukemia
the other cancer of the paws, my beloved collie something in the brain that
caused
horrible seizures, the Chem Lawn property owners dog had lots of skin tumors
and
then a brain tumor causing seizures. Now my cat with a tumor. Coincidence
or
what. I wonder what any of you think. Roberta
