I taught 30 years in inner city schools with little support, few supplies and
horrendous problems. I stuggled often and was stressed frequently but if you
remember that you are probably the best part of your children's day. Know
that what you say and do does make a difference. Establish relationships,
show that you care. It can be the most rewarding job around.
