One year I had my intermediate classes on a three week rotation - everyday
for three weeks, then music for three... PE. I liked to have them everyday
- but I hated to do the same thing with all 3 rotations - it felt like the
project never ended. - so I ended up doing variations, but sharing what we
did. I don't have all of our 2/3 classes, I work with a vertical team - but
the other schedule was a mess. There were three specials at one time to
provide common planning for 4 classes. One classes divided into thirds and
went with each of the others - then the classes met on an A, B, C
rotation.... what a nightmare for all involved... and I'm not sure how much
the common planning was utilized.
