ELE schedule is very tough! One third of my classes miss at least one third
of their lessons all year. I already have several classes that have missed 5
out of about 12 lessons...how can you teach like that!!!! Our art
curriculum is going to be under review soon and my principal mentioned that
once all the curriculums are finished being revised, they will probably all
include a test. I told her that until they figure out a way to keep one
third of my students from missing one third of their classes and give time in
the school day to make it up, then they could forget about testing art!!!
This does not happen to any other "special" (hate that word!) in our district
because both music and pe meet twice a week!

just venting some more!
