I envy the middle school schedule also. Actually I never wanted to teach elementary in the first place. Another problem with the elem.schedule is that if you only have a class once a week, think about what happens when that class is on Mondays or Fridays. The majority of our one day breaks (Pres. Day, MLK Day, Inservices, etc.) are all on Mondays and Fridays. My Monday and Friday classes are usually an entire month behind the other classes! (or more)
