This sounds a little like a portrait project that I have done with 2nd and
3rd graders. I took overhead film, made cardboard frames, taped the film
into the frames, then had the students work in pairs and "draw" each others
portraits with washable marker on the film. Each partner takes turns
looking out of their frame while their partner draws them. They really did
concentrate on details. I copied these off on the xerox and displayed them
in pairs, ie. Jim by Bob and Bob by Jim. They have a nice quality almost
like a print. Forces them to really look and no talking is a bonus. Don't
know how clear this is, but it is fun. Linda in OK
