Any middle school teachers interested in an art exchange project?

Hello--

Last year, another art teacher in a different school district and I
participated in an art exchange project where my students did portraits based
only on detailed descriptions which her students wrote about themselves (and
vice versa). At the end, we exchanged the portraits and also photographs so
the artists could see how closely their art work resembled the students.

Due to a scheduling conflict, the teacher with whom I exchanged art cannot do
it this year. Are there any art teachers out there who might be interested?
It would involve a small group of 8th graders sometime during January or
February.

I can give more details about how the project was organized if you wish. It
was a lot of fun, I thought...the kids seemed to enjoy it and we were really
surprised at the accuracy of the results.
