Subject: transfering images to canvas
ok..... I need help. I just don't get how to transfer
xerox or magazine photos to canvas- I can't get it to
even transfer to paper. I am doing something wrong.
Some of you suggested using gesso, others acetone...
Ok... did that, and then I even tried mineral spirits-
and stunk up my room. Maybe I am not mixing in the
correct proportions of the acetone. I don't know...
but all I keep making is a mess and the mineral
spirits make oily stains on the canvas. I want a clean
transfer.... can you help me? I think I need a step by
step. I must be missing something.
