I remember reading that black and white are first, then purple and yellow
and last red and green in the development of the color eyesight in humans
in the evolutionary cycle--that is, unless you're in Kansas--then you just
pick any color you like, I guess!. When you go underwater red and green
disappear quickly with depth--also red and green are the first colors to
go haywire with colorblind people. Sid
