I love this! I am having my 7th graders make scratchboard self portraits
using their digital photos as a reference. They are making traced value
studies first -- which has really helped them break out of the
cartoony-contour shapes. I definitely will share this article with them!
We've been exploring the relationship between technology and art all year --
this is a perfect connection. Thanks for the link!
