Not sure what to think of your students. I tell my elementary students early
on that I expect them to learn to draw human form instead of stick figures. I
start as early as first grade. We just did a figure drawing project using
overlapping shapes. They came out great and they use those skills still. I
also tell my older students....only K-4th building, that I do not allow stick
people. Usually the first of the year I am a little soft about it, but at
this date, not at all. I am curious, how did your principal respond to these
complaints? Just curious.
