hot glue and shoe polish

Hi,
We are encouraged to use a hot glue gun at our school so things don't
come off the walls at night and set off the motion sensor. Anyway, our
wonderful janitor got several very heavy duty scrapers on a long pole
They just pop glue off with a quick scrape.
Also, I use shoe polish in a squeeze bottle ( with a foam type sponge
applicator) with first graders when they do a slab owl ceramic project.
They come out with a great looking finish. Then I spray them with a
clear acrylic.
A brag for my school- we got an excellent rating on South Carolina's
first report card for schools. The results were released yesterday.
