I do talk about Jesus and Mary and every chance I get we discuss religion
in the "historical" perspective. So far my seat is still here but maybe
that's why my seat is in a small closet and I am the last one on earth
they consider for anything. I know I should praise God for my lowly place,
but often I just see how much more I could offer these kids if given a
chance to have my own classroom. C'est la vie. I wish I were you at home,
most days, praising God and adoring Him who sent me. I guess this is MY
cross. I read about a saint, St. Rosalie, who cured the world of several
great plagues, including an anthrax plague. She left her wealthy family
and lived in a cave to escape the excesses of her day in Italy. God smiled
on her with such sunshine; and uses her as an intercessory for healings,
even today. Maybe you can be our little Rosalie in her cave at home,
encouraging us to do great things for the kids, and to see them as the
beautiful souls they are in God's kingdom. I need a ton of encouragement
just to get up most mornings. I love my kids and I love teaching art but
the persecution from the teachers and the lack of love and consideration
among the staff is so nearly unbearable.
Thank you for your words.
