Sounds like you got into a mouse trap. Shut down your computer as fast
as you can when that happens. It is not always the person whose link you
followed fault. Sometimes sites get hijacked for this purpose.

Yes, this exact thing has happened to me..it was
downright scarey. The only thing that came up on my
screen (in Internet Explorer)was porn..I mean gross
kid porn..I would click to get rid of it and
BAM..another would appear..it was downright
disgusting. It just appeared out of nowhere (I didn't
click on porn either)It took forever to get rid of
it..
