Cut Paper Designs

These lovely cut paper portraits remind me of the kind of screen
printing we did way back when silk screening (sic) was part of the
curriculum. Does anyone still do serigraphy in their class rooms? I am
proposing to my high school that instead of sending out the posters for
plays to expensive printers, that we screen them the old fashioned
way--by hand! We need to save some money and I still love the screen
printing process even though it is laborious. I think kids get a bang
out of producing stuff like posters themselves. What do you think? Peggy
