My experience was rather eye opening but in a different way.....

10 Years ago one of my students had a severe allergic reaction to Vaseline
when we did the face and plaster molding. He ended up in the hospital for 3
weeks, on oxygen with pneumonia. It was awful and I felt sick. Nothing was
in his file concerning all this. His mother was the librarian
He had a severe reaction to petroleum products. Although this seemed like a
rare incident, I see more and more students with petroleum based alleries
come through my box. I have never done the project since.
