Judy,
I've heard from the grapevine that we need to do our budgets this week
although our principal has not told our school this yet. Apparently all
budgets need to be in to the Superintendent by the 12th or so. Is there a
place on line to go to the new catalog? I would use last year's book but
they are insisting our catalogs be current (Actually it is...it's still 2001
isn't it?) Our ordering/Budget process is so cumbersome that I usually don't
get my stuff until after the start of the year!!!! I would rather get a lump
sum and order it myself! They put everything out to bid which is fine but
then I don't get everything I want (still haven't received all items on my
order), they replace items without telling me and order from whichever
company gives the best discount (not always an Art company) I'd rather not
get as many things to know that I'll get exactly what I order. Imagine the
money they waste just having the manpower to wade through this miserable
process!
