Welcome back! Sounds like you are set up to receive the digest version of
the list. Go to
http://lists.getty.edu/cgi-bin/lyris.pl?enter=artsednet&text_mode=0 login
with your e-mail and click on settings. You can change you subscription here
and then you should be able to receive individual e-mails.

As far as recommendations for a book, I would suggest "From Ordinary to
Extraordinary" as well as "Art Teachers Book of Lists". I use both
extensively. I also use this list serv and the websites of it's members as
my main source of inspiration to plan new lessons. Good luck! :-)
