I have had heel spurs, also. My Dr. said I am a "pronator"- oh my!
She hand made a "poor man's orthotic" for me ($50 or so vs. the $700 real
custom ones my marathon running friends buy) and they have been wonderful. I
wear them in almost all my shoes- sneakers to dress. I almost always buy Easy
Spirit or Aerosole brand shoes for work. Perhaps you should try a sports
medicine Dr. to get those spurs under control and plan to do some daily heel
stretches, they really help.
Let me know if you want more details... best of luck- hurtin' feet make for a
long day!!!
