I suffered from spurs for a long time. Dr. Sholls or similar brands make
these "heel cups" that you can put in your sneakers which really help. To be
honest, although these helped the best, I didn't get rid of the problem until
I broke my ankle 2 years ago and had my right foot in a cast. That healed
the right foot. Then 6 months later I missed the bottom step and twisted my
left foot so the doctor put that foot in a cast. Success!!!! Haven't had
any trouble since. My advice.....stay off your feet in the evening and raise
your legs above your heart. Good luck. I empathize with you.
