In the past I have had students purchase a rectangular tupperware
container, usually from the local dollar store. I have found that using
freezer paper works well for mixing colors on. After colors are mixed,
students can store these in the tupperware container and stacked either
in their art locker or on shelf in storage room. Also for the
turpentine, I have them bring in tupperware containers for that. It has
worked for me. I to am into oil painting and have an advanced painting
class this year. Since I have worked mainly in oil, working in tempera
and watercolor is new to me. I have done some but not much, any
suggestions on those would be greatly appreciated.
