PS: Bunki has a great idea for storing colored pencils: Clear
tennis ball containers. I guess you could put the sharpener in
there and could see if it was returned when class was ending...

Teri-thanx for sharing Bunki's Idea! Now I'd like to add on... I've been
collecting
Tennis balls-for the balls-and now I find that having the container is a
bonus! I just
order 15 new boxes of berol colored pencils for my studio drawing class and
now I have something to put them in! Oh, back to the balls...I saw this in
our elem school... you cut an X in the ball with a matt knife and insert your
chair legs into them. Of course you need 4 balls per chair. It makes the
chairs squeek proof and prevents the kids for tipping back on two legs. Now I
have 30 chairsX4legs=120 balls!
Good thing I've been collecting all summer. My husband plays regularly and
they never use the same balls twice--something about bounce!
Thanx again
