I found something in the ART WORKS (Holt, Rhinehart and Winston) guide
that addressed visually impaired students. It's kind of lengthy so I'll
condense.A barrier free environment. Music is good while participating.
adding sand to paint. Using sandpaper strips and corrugated strips for
weaving, Pre-shaped paper, arranging materials from left to right,
create lines using yarn or string and glue. Using materials that create
sound for assemblage( ie: small bells). For partial vision, bright or
flourescent materials 3-d toys or models for the student to examine. I
already deleated who was asking about this.
