re: Holocaust Memorial in Miami Beach

Thank God MaryAnn and Michelle H. had compiled that list of art webs and I
printed it out!! Thank you! Thank you!! It will take me time to get them
back in my computer but at least I have a starting point..

I would love to receive a copy of the list of art webs. Thank you in advance.

After just discovering you guys for a week I went on vacation to Miami area
and am trying to go through all the emails left for me. Has anyone else seen
the powerful "Holocaust Memorial" in Miami Beach.....incredibly powerful.
I'd be curious to hear your reactions with regard to art vs. message. To
review for those of you who haven't seen the memorial....the main structure
is of a large hand of a concentration camp victim...with the numbers.
Beneath it are maybe 50 horrified naked victims. The question becomes....our
interpretation. Are these individuals trying to climb out or being pulled
down. There are so many ways to interpret it. I'm simplifying the whole
thing and wish I had a scanner to show you. Any of you who have seen the
memorial, please share your observations.
