Hey there fellow ArtsEdnetters,

KanCRN Research

> If yoy go to this site you will see a dummy/sample research report
> titled Oral History of Visual Artists: A Middle School Collaboration.

The KanCrn Collaborative Research group is willing to assist teachers in
efforts to get students involved in meaningful research and publication
the internet. I typed my proposed project into a format they have set
up for
students to publish the results of their research. Most of the projects
to date
are science/experimental related. KanCrn is willing to adapt the format
so it will
fit the needs of non-experimental research as I have suggested.

If you have followed this topic the last 2 days, then you might want to
click on
the site above and look the paper over. Any ideas you have would sure
welcomed. It would be great to have 5 or 6 Middle Schools around the
doing this on a collaborative basis this year.

This link below may or may not work for you, but if you wish to try
my school number is 3892 and my pass word is taos. The form is designed

so that a student can publish on line, then the teacher gets the paper
e-mail and is able to grade it and return it on line. The grading is by
a rubic
that is viewed by frames as the teacher scores each rubic.

> To see a list of all papers registered to you, please see
> >From this list you can comment on, score, and publish
> all of the research papers registered to you.

If you wish to join Kancrn, just follow the instructions and sign up.
We need strong teachers who are making a difference out there.
