Dear Debra,
I taught home schooled families for 3 years and it afforded me the luxury of
staying home through my last pregnancy and those great early years. It was a
lot of fun, and very satisfying. The one on one cannot compare to teaching
large classes. Once you link up with one family, it should be quite easy.
Home schooling moms often "work" in groups, to offer the socialization to
their children, and support for one another. The one family I began with
brought in 3 more families and it just worked. I wish you well. I am now
teaching K-6 and look back at the home schooling time as a great learning
experience. Good luck.
