Hey there, I finally put a lesson plan on line, and I don't even
write them for my principal, that's because she never reads them.
Anyway, check it out and tell me what's missing. It's so hard to
explain what you are doing and why and then expect someone besides
yourself to understand it. The lesson is on collograph printing. It's
something I do with my 8th graders as a final lesson in a sequence.
I've done the same technique with 6th graders. We worked from drawings
of flowers. It a way to pull success out of almost any student, and at
the same time allow the really creative ones to blow your socks off.

By the way, someone told me that the "over achievers" and the
"slackers" of this world both go around the sun at the same rate.
Something to think about.
