Dallas, Texas-- MEADOWS MUSEUM EDUCATORS OPEN HOUSE

Admission Free. Refreshments will be served.

We will be giving away FREE posters, postcards, and books while
supplies last. All purchases made will receive a 20% discount this
day only.
Please join us for a special opening of the museum for all teachers,
professors, and education administrators. There will be tours of the
world-famous permanent collection of Spanish art and special
exhibition,"By the Grace of Light: Images of Faith From Catholic New
Mexico, Photographs by Craig Varjabedian". Learn firsthand about
programs, and resources for students and teachers in all disciplines.


Visiting the Museum
The Meadows Museum is located on the corner of Bishop Blvd. and
Binkley Street, on the campus of Southern Methodist University within
the Meadows School of the Arts, in Dallas, Texas. Museum hours are
Monday, Tuesday, Friday and Saturday, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.; Thursday, 10
a.m. to 8 p.m.; and Sunday, 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. The museum is closed on
Wednesdays and holidays. For more information, call 214/768-2516, or

Meadows Museum is free and open to the public.

Museum Tours
Docent guided tours are available for school groups, individuals, and
organizations. Tours can be arranged for groups of 10-45 people and
can be conducted in Spanish upon advance request. To arrange a tour,
call 214/823-7644 at least three weeks in advance. The fee for
adults docent tours is $25.00 per group. The fee for school tours is
$1.00 per student and $1.00 per adult. Free public tours are offered
Sundays at 2 p.m. from September through May and on selected Sundays
during the summer. Reservations are not required for this tour.

Parking
Parking is available in the Museum Visitors' Lot at Ownby Drive and
Binkley Street or in the red brick multi-story parking garage on
Airline Road and SMU Boulevard (formerly "Yale Blvd."). Entrance to
the lot is off SMU Blvd.

Handicapped Visitors
Visitors in wheel chairs may enter the building through the north
door, which may be reached by a driveway off Hillcrest at Granada.
Handicapped parking is available in front of the Greer Garson
Theatre.

Membership Program
We invite our public to become members of the Meadows Museum. Member
benefits are extensive and include invitations to members-only
previews, travel, collection visits, newsletter, and discounts for
