I just want to say ditto. I would almost believe that I had written that
myself. And yet, SanD, do you realize there are teachers out there who would
say that students shouldn't even use photos they have taken themselves as
reference. They think that to use any photo is copying for any reason is
copying. Sometimes I think that there are teachers who actually believe what
some of my students believe. Which is that real artists
draw/paint/sculpt/create everything from their heads. That if they have to
look at something, they are not real artists. This is one of the reasons that
I feel that art should be taught by people who know and even do art. Enough. I
have way too much yard debris left behind by Bonnie to get on my soapbox right
now. Thanks again for your wise words.
