A Friend of mine did an environmental Special Art Project when we were Seniors
in College. He got permission from a local Landowner
to build a 4'H x 12'L Dinosaur Sculpture out of scrap wood discarded from
Produce crates, chiken wire, & papier mach'e & painted it w/ tempera at the
edge of the woods. He video taped & photographed the piece as it deterioriated
- periodically & after rain. The destruction of the sculpture & the form it
took as it faded away was the subject & record of the work. Several of us
would accompany him when He documented the sculpture's demise...(This was back
in !979) ...
