Greetings All:

Andrew Wyeth and my late uncle, Walter Anderson were best of friends. Andy
painted him many times. The painting ADRIFT is probably one you've seen
recently.

I'm in the process of researching their lives and doing something, I'm not
sure--perhaps a book with photos and stories--any ideas? I would
appreciate any comments on the merits and viability of writing about these
men as part of Art History in Maine/US. Do you think anyone would read
such literature?

I've been examining the emotionality of Wyeths works and reading books
about him. I've met with him several times also. We know he's very private
in the sense of accesability, but that's all part of what makes his work
appealing. How do I remain unbiased in my interpretation of his works,
considering his marketed(and real) personna?

Also loking for resources of info on the WWW. Know any sites,
essays--personal perspectives anyone?

Thanks! From the coast of Maine: Russ A.
