On the subject of reports on artists.....
How about making an artists' book about "your" artist...I've even included the
requirement that one illustration must be a miniature copy of one work......or
designing a place setting (you might use clay, or paper plates, cups, etc.)
for "your" artist and then on the feast day, bring some food to share that
would represent your artist (Mondrian jello, salad with edible flowers for
Monet, etc.) On the final day of a project like this, I have kids share their
project so the other kids can learn too, but not necessarily a formal report.
