tempera cakes

They save me so many headaches. I buy basic colors.I have some of the
tempera cake holders but I like buying a sleeve of meat trays from a local
restaurant supplier; red, white, blue, green, yellow, and purple paint; orange
is not used , nor brown or black to prevent mud. Then I wash them under warm
water and stack in a tower. (At the end of the class or day---I love for on
the cart years.) Yes, I do have students who still try to drill for oil or
twirl or crunch ..... I've also set up a series of day-glo ones and let those
who finish a process apply them to the next .......
