I once returned 12 bottles or so of blue tempera paint that had that smell
and did receive a reimbursement or replacement. I also have heard to use
oil of cloves in the paint. The other thing I do when I get new supplies
is to mark the year on cap and bottle of all paints, inks, things that can
go bad. Even keep tape with year on new packs of paper and do the
supermarket method of putting all old stuff to the front. But the dates
help. Then I see what needs to be used and helps with inventory.

I would also like to hear some tips on concepts to be taught in ArtI 9or
similar course, Art II, III, IV and the differences. We are doing content
outlines for those and ceramics and woodcrafts classes and are working on
getting different levels of expectation. Any suggestions would be welcome.
Even if they might be ones we already have; some may not be.

thanks, Fran

thanks ot those who answered with tips about the Europe email.
