I imagine you could cut and paste the entire digest into either a new e-mail
or into a word processing software, and edit away! I myself just copy and
create documents out of the stuff I want to save, and, usually, as I read,
cut and paste URL's of Web pages into one place, so when I log back on, I
can check them out and bookmark them. Other than that, I can only suggest
scrolllllllling away.... it is not a new topic on the list. Nor is the habit
of "highlighting" entire passages, where one or two sentences would be enough
to jog our memories. Someone thanked me for the quotes I sent them, and sent
back all 180 quotes in the course of saying thank-you. I think actually some
software just automatically highlights everything.
