Hello All,
In the past I have had a chart hanging in my classroom for elementary
behavior. Each class is listed. At the end of the class the students
and myself place up to three stamps on the chart. They number of stamps
received depends on overall behavior of students, and quiet efficient
clean up. The system offers immediate feedback to the class. If they
miss stamps we discuss why. Classes then receive rewards when they
reach a certain number of stamps. (Movie day, free art day, pencils,
candy etc..)
I had discontinued this due to the expense of purchasing rewards. Yet,
they keep asking my for the stamp chart every year. Does anyone else
use a system like this and what rewards are used? I recall someone
mentioning ART OLYMPICS what is this?
