I aman art teacher in an elementary school (K-5) and it seems that every
printmaking lesson that I try turns out to be a disaster. I have tried
monoprinting and the kids seem to get the paint to thick and the details
of their design do not print out. Gadget printing seems to get totally
out of hand because the kids put objects into more than one color and the
paint ends up looking like baby poop. Not to mention the fact that after
the kids clean up and leave, I have to set up for the class that is
coming in that is not doing printmaking. (unfortunately, the schedule
often works out so that I might have 5th grade coming after Kindergarten
or 3rd grade coming after 1st grade, so the possibility of doing the same
lesson is out of the question) HELP!!!! I don't want printmaking
nightmares any more!!!!!!!!!!
