I have been hired several times to do face painting in a local supermarket
for promotional days and grand openings. I am paid $25 an hour, which is
better than I can do if I paint at a fair and charge each person. The
paintings are rather elaborate and I usually have a crowd watching the
painging develop. I paint the whole face or half de[ending on the design,
arms legs and I even painted two ladies back at the Carnival celebration in
St. john USVI on July 4th. The best part is watching the persons reaction
when they look in the mirror. I have been asked if I would do birthday
parties and I thought this would be something most art teachers could do. I
use good acrylic brushes and craft acrylic paint, that is water based and
non-toxic.
Hope this helps with your birthday party ideas.
