Hi Marilyn & Bunki,

Droppers can be used to create some neat textures when using watercolor
paint. Dropping plain water onto a damp area will create an interesting
backwash. The wetness of the wash or painted area will determine what
sort of texture you get. You can also use a colored wash instead of plain
water. Also, dropping denatured alcohol on a wet area of paint will create
a different kind of backwash texture.

Mary
