Bunki 's plea for resources on teaching cultural diversity provides a
perfect opportunity for us to announce that Graeme Chalmers's book,
Celebrating Pluralism: Art, Education, and Cultural Diversity, is in print and
available through the Getty Trust Publications Distribution Center.

In addition to providing a rationale for multicultural art education, Dr.
Chalmers gives it a historical context. He suggests ways to design and
implement a curriculum for multicultural art education that makes the most
sense for a teacher's students and community.

The book is the fifth in the Education Institute's occasional paper series
and costs $10. Shipping and handling is extra, of course. Celebrating
