There is a cute book called Mouse Paint (can't remember the author right
now) about three mice who spill some paint and then dance around in the
primaries to make the secondaries. It is really cute and I made three
mice out of colored paper (red, yellow, blue) with cut out tummies. Then
I taped matching cellophane into the tummies. The children can hold them
up to the light and lay red over yellow to make orange, etc. They really
get a kick out of it. Actually, it was so popular, I made 8 sets of the
mice!
