Terry Strohkorb, a graduate student who will be working as my teaching
assistant this fall for a ceramic sculpture class came across an essay in
Art, Creativity and
the Sacred by Diane Apostolos-Cappadona. (1996. Continuum: New York). We
are considering whether to use one of the essays in the book, "Craft:
Making and Being" as a required reading for the course. We noticed that the
table of contents and the essay page list the author as Cecilia DAVIS
Cunningham and the biographical sketch at the end of the book lists the
author as Cecilia DAVID Cunningham (is an artist and art historian working
in South Bend, Indiana). We determined that one of the listings must be
incorrect and this observation has inspired the following questions:

1) What is the correct middle name for this author,
2) When was this essay written.
