Mark, thank you for your kind note...I use a clear spray, gloss from the
Mart DE Wal, if you know what I mean, but just recently, I made a mask,
and used white glue and it worked much better. I will probably use the
glue in the future. Yes, I had to do the spraying out of the classroom.
I think the only problem with the white glue will be the colors in the
tissue dye running. They will have to be very careful, but they have
the experience when they first dipped the tissue in the
cornstarch...whooops, I think that I forgot that part of the lesson when
I sent it out. It is way over 100 degrees here, and my computer and I
are not always in snyc. Actually, I only used the fixative on the
painted sculptures, the tissue/corn starch didn't really need it.
If you are totally confused, let me know and I will clarify.
I just completed my first week of the school year and of course,
confusion still reigns.
